Curling Day in Nova Scotia Registration is OPEN!
Interested in trying curling and learning to walk on ice?? Join community members at your local curling facility on Saturday November 7 for Curling Day in Nova Scotia and your chance to try out this wonderful winter sport! No curling experience required, just bring a clean pair of sneakers and warm clothing. Youth under 12 years of age will be required to wear a helmet.

Curling Day in Nova Scotia Participant Registration Form
NOTE: Each adult will need to complete a separate registration and waiver. Youth (under 18) may be included on a parent/guardian’s form and have a waiver signed on their behalf.
- Try Curling: This event offers on-ice curling 101 experience. You’ll learn to slide, sweep, and make shots in 1 fun-filled hour!
- Youth Curling: Curling for ages 6-20 yrs.
- Stick Curling: Similar to traditional curling, but players deliver the stone with a stick. Perfect for those nervous about sliding or those with mobility issues. Sweeping is still a part of the game.
- Wheelchair Curling: an adaptation of the sport played from a wheelchair. Players use a stick to deliver the stone, sweeping is not part of the game.
Rule Update – World Curling 4-Player Requirement
Nova Scotia Curling is announcing that the new World Curling four‑player requirement will not be implemented for any provincial championships in the 2026–27 season. NS Curling will gather feedback throughout the upcoming season to help us guide decisions on how the rule might be applied in future seasons.
