(by-line Julie Morley - Regional Director - Valley)  Sorry, at my young age I forgot I didn't tell you the winners of the masters.  The Greenwood and Middleton clubs were awesome hosts and I can't wait to hear the events they would like to host next year. WAY TO GO! Both competitors and spectators were extremely pleased with their visits.  The games were very well curled and winners unknown until the last rock was delivered. My only hope is that next year more competitors will enter these events.  Both the winners and runner-up teams will be invited to the Maritime Masters to be played in Moncton, at the Beaver curling club, Feb. 14th to 17th.  The winners  will attend the Canadian Masters championship at Thistle St. Andrews in St. John March 28th - April 4th.
The Ladies Masters runner-up team was the NSCA Judy Burgess team with Helen Brightman, Pat Macleod and Marilyn Schnare.  The champions were the Mayflower Sue Anne Bartlett team with Sharon Clarke, Marjorie MacKay, Brenda Nearing and Mary Barton.  The Men's Masters runner- up  was the Bluenose Haylett Clarke rink with John Marshall, Vic Belliveau, and John McNaughton.  The Men's Masters champions were the NSCA Reid Romkey rink with Alan Marshall, Peter Smith and Bruce Tymchuck.  Well done everyone!
